Jak Carson makes the move to Afan Lido
Afan Lido have added to their defensive options with the signing of Jak Carson from Taffs Well.
The 21-year-old is a versatile defender who can operate at both centre back and right back, and brings valuable Cymru South experience with him. A product of Penybont’s academy, Carson made his mark at Taffs Well after initially joining on loan before making the switch permanent last summer.
Now at Lido, he’ll be aiming to push on in a new environment as the club look to build momentum going into the 2025/26 campaign.

Elliot Humphries joins Treowen Stars
Treowen Stars have confirmed the signing of young midfielder Elliot Humphries ahead of the new season.
Previously with Canton FC and Cardiff Met, the talented youngster arrives with a reputation for technical ability and sharp movement in midfield. He's already impressed during pre-season, and the club sees him as a great fit for the next phase of his development.
With experience at both grassroots and university-level football, Treowen will be hoping he can grow quickly into a key figure for the side.

Matthew Delaney Signs for Ammanford AFC
Ammanford AFC have announced the signing of midfielder Matthew Delaney ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Delaney arrives at the club following a stint with Goodwick United. The central midfielder also brings Cymru South experience from his time with Llanelli and Carmarthen Town, where he made close to 50 appearances and scored four goals. One of those goals came in a 4-0 win for Carmarthen against Ammanford in 2022.
He has already featured for Ammanford in their preseason fixture against Morriston Town and is expected to be available for the upcoming Nathaniel MG Cup first round tie against Cardiff City on 19 July.
Speaking about the move, Delaney said he was pleased to join the club and had heard positive things from the management team about the direction Ammanford are heading.

Afan Lido land Lewis Reed and Jordan Langley
Afan Lido have bolstered their squad with the signings of striker Lewis Reed from Ammanford and midfielder Jordan Langley from Carmarthen Town.
Reed scored 18 league goals in the 2024/25 JD Cymru South campaign, continuing his reputation as one of the division’s most reliable forwards. He brings a proven goal threat and valuable experience to the Lido frontline.
Langley also arrives to strengthen the squad, adding energy, creativity, and a strong presence in midfield. The double capture signals real intent from Lido as they prepare for the season ahead.

Nat Jarvis Returns to Newport City
Newport City have confirmed the return of experienced forward Nat Jarvis ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Jarvis brings a wealth of experience back to the Cymru South club, having previously played for the Citizens and enjoyed spells in the English system and Cymru Premier. He most recently featured for Tiverton Town in the Southern League.
His return is a big boost for City as they look to push on this season with a proven goal threat back in the ranks.

Vaughn Fowler joins Caerau Ely from relegated Taffs Well
Caerau Ely have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of centre-back Vaughn Fowler from Taffs Well.
Fowler was a standout figure in a difficult season for the Wellmen, and now makes the switch to Caerau Ely as they prepare for the 2025/26 JD Cymru South campaign.
His experience and leadership will be key additions at the back, with the club aiming to push higher up the table this season.

Newport City Add Firepower with Davies Signing
Charlie Davies has completed a move to Newport City from Abergavenny Town ahead of the new JD Cymru South season. The energetic winger brings pace, creativity and a direct threat down the flank, adding another dimension to City's attacking options.

Kayne McLaggon Joins Newport City After Barry Town Exit
Newport City have pulled off a major coup with the signing of Kayne McLaggon following his departure from Barry Town United.
The 33-year-old forward spent eight seasons at Barry, racking up over 130 goals in nearly 250 appearances and captaining the side during their time in both the Cymru Premier and Cymru South. A Wales C international and former Southampton academy product, McLaggon now brings his experience and goal scoring pedigree to Newport, who are aiming to climb the ranks this season.

Eduardo Bregua signs for Newport City
Newport City have added to their creative options with the signing of Eduardo Bregua. The attacking midfielder was most recently with Penybont in the Cymru Premier and now brings flair and vision to a Newport side aiming to dominate the final third. With his ability to unlock defences and deliver key passes, Bregua offers the creativity and leadership needed to help propel the team forward this season.
