Billy Nicholas Returns to Gresford Athletic
Gresford Athletic have confirmed the return of defender Billy Nicholas from Llandudno ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
This marks Nicholas’s second spell at the club, and he becomes the latest new arrival for the First Team during a busy summer of recruitment.
With Cymru Premier experience at Airbus and a solid spell at Llandudno behind him, Nicholas brings leadership and composure to the back line as Gresford look to push on this season.

Luke Edwards signs for Mold Alexandra
Mold Alexandra have confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Luke Edwards ahead of the 2025/26 season. The former Holywell Town player brings a blend of discipline, energy and leadership to the Alex midfield and says he is excited to get started with a squad that mixes promising young talent and experienced heads.
“I try to do the simple things right and keep up with the young ones,” Edwards said in his first interview, highlighting his focus on hard work and marginal gains.

Caersws Bolster Squad with Double Signing
Caersws FC have made two key additions ahead of the 2025–26 campaign, signing Callum Page from Bow Street and Jake Humphreys from The New Saints.
Page arrives after impressing in the Ardal North East with Bow Street, while Humphreys makes the move from Cymru Premier champions TNS, adding extra pedigree and versatility to the squad.
Both players will be looking to make their mark as Caersws aim to push on this season in the Cymru North.

Newtown have confirmed the signing of defender Theo Ezea
The young centre back makes the move to Latham Park after spells with Telford Town, Drayton and Elsmere, bringing good experience from men's football despite his age. He was also selected for England Schoolboys earlier this year, featuring in the 2025 Centenary Shield.After relegation from the Cymru Premier last season, the Robins are rebuilding with purpose.
Ezea adds fresh energy and hunger to the squad as they look to bounce back and challenge in the Cymru North. One to keep an eye on as the new era at Newtown begins.

Holywell Town Add Zak Kempster-Down to Defensive Ranks
Holywell Town have bolstered their squad with the addition of defender Zak Kempster-Down ahead of the new JD Cymru North season.
The 23-year-old, who came through the ranks at Crewe Alexandra, brings a solid foundation of senior experience and adds further depth to Johnny Haseldin’s defensive options. Known for his versatility across the back line, Kempster-Down will be looking to make his mark in a side aiming to push on once again this term.
His arrival continues a busy summer at Halkyn Road as the Wellmen prepare for a new campaign with fresh ambition.

Izaack Lambert Joins Ruthin Town from Flint
Ruthin Town have completed the signing of Izaack Lambert from Flint Town United. The midfielder featured in the JD Cymru Premier last season and now makes the move to the Cymru North ahead of the 2025–26 campaign. Lambert is the latest addition to Ruthin’s squad as they continue preparations for the new season.

Flint Mountain on the Move
Flint Mountain have confirmed they’ll be groundsharing with Prestatyn Town this season after their agreement with Flint Town United was ended without notice. The move to Bastion Gardens was approved by the FAW National Game Board and ensures they’ll remain in the JD Cymru North. The club thanked Prestatyn for stepping in quickly and offering their support during a tricky transition.

Cox Returns to Ruthin
Dan Cox is back at Ruthin Town! The versatile defender has rejoined the club after a spell with Bangor 1876. A familiar face with plenty of Cymru North experience, Cox adds bite and composure as the squad builds for the new season.

Liam Ellis Joins Buckley Town
Liam Ellis makes the move to Asa Hamilton’s Buckley Town ahead of the new season. The versatile defender leaves Ruthin looking for a fresh challenge, and adds strength and experience to a Bucks side aiming to climb the table in 2025-26. Big statement from the Globe.

Dan Wood joins Rhyl
Rhyl have added more firepower to their squad with the signing of forward Dan Wood from Airbus. After spending the second half of last season on loan at Llandudno, Wood now makes the move to Belle Vue as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.
